Class Characteristics and Goals

My classes are taught from my heart and intuition and are eclectic in style, with a balance of athleticism/physical strength, moderate flow, and gentle openings. My training has encompassed all types of yoga, and I include Yoga for Everybody (Ruth Bender), Iyengar, Asthanga, Kripalu, Kundalini, emphasis on chakras, and various guided meditations in class. I can teach beginners, all levels, intermediate, advanced, power yoga, traditional Asthanga, and both pre/postnatal yoga, toddler yoga, kids yoga, and teen yoga. My goal is to leave you feeling challenged, yet relaxed and rejuvenated!

Classes include:

Toddler – Parent-Child Interactive with breathing exercises, games, storytelling, affirmations, social bonding, Peaceful Touch®, and relaxation with guided imagery.

Preschool – Breathing exercises, games, storytelling, affirmations, social bonding, Peaceful Touch®, and relaxation with guided imagery. These can be tailored toward the class curriculum.

5-8 years old – Breathing exercises, games, music, storytelling, and relaxation with guided imagery. These can be tailored for an elementary school setting.

9-12 years old – Tradional Yoga with some games, partner yoga, breathing exercises, and relaxation with guided imagery. These can be tailored for a middle school setting.

Mom's Night Out: a fun gathering of moms while treating yourself to pure relaxation. I share yogic insights on parenting, and select poses to help release commonly held physical tensions from caring for children, as well as relieve stress and restore vitality.
